TRESSS exists because Andrew and Cecilia Heard could not buy the system they wanted, so this pool is where the answer was worked out.
Set alongside a modern house and screened by mature trees, it is a full-length pool with the floor lowered for swimming and raised to extend the terrace when it is not in use.
Tested at home
Every part of the system is used the way a client would use it: depth changed on a whim, the floor closed for a gathering, the whole thing running through an Indiana winter.
What it proves
Precision engineering, architectural detailing and thermal performance had to arrive together. This is where that combination was settled.
